Frequently asked questions
Quick answers to the "can I …" questions our support team gets most often. Each answer states the requirements and links to the full guide.
Changing the theme after paying
Yes. Open Invitation content › Theme, then click Change theme. Any customizations to the old theme's look (fonts, colors, layout, and theme-specific settings) are reset, but your content, such as names, dates, events, and the guest list, stays safe.
Some themes are only available on certain plans. See Change the theme and Locked themes.
How long the invitation stays active
It depends on the plan. The active period is counted from the wedding day:
| Plan | Active period |
|---|---|
| Kenalan | 3 months after the wedding day |
| Janjian | 1 year after the wedding day |
| Full Custom | Lifetime |
Prices and the full comparison are on the pricing page and in Kenalan, Janjian, and Full Custom plans.
Keeping the invitation active forever
Yes. The Full Custom plan already includes lifetime. For other plans, add the Lifetime add-on. Other add-ons on the pricing page don't change the active period.
Add-on prices are on the pricing page.
Seeing the invitation before sending it
Yes. In Invitation content, the live preview sits next to the form on a wide screen. On a phone, click Show preview and the preview opens as a sheet from the bottom of the screen (close it with Close preview). The preview always shows the invitation in a phone frame, and it jumps to the section you're editing. Once the invitation is live, click Open in a new tab in the preview to open it in a new tab.
Every change saves automatically. Make sure the status at the top of the editor shows Saved. For a checklist to go through before sending, see Check before you send your invitation.
Hiding Love Story or other sections
It depends on the theme. This setting is only available in themes that have an Aruma theme display or Jingga theme look section in Invitation settings; other themes don't have it yet. See how in Choose which sections appear on your invitation.
Using your own song
Yes, with a YouTube link. Besides choosing from the music collection, you can add a song by pasting a YouTube video link. Uploading a song file from your phone or laptop isn't available yet.
See how in Add a song from YouTube.
Changing the invitation link
Not on your own. The invitation link can't be changed once it's set, so check the spelling before you save. If you've already saved it with a mistake, see Contact Abadikan support.
To set and share the link, see Open and share your invitation link.
Limiting who can open it
Yes, on the Janjian and Full Custom plans. Access Mode has the options Public, Guests Only (only guests with a code from the guest list), and Single Device (needs a code and can only be opened on the first device).
See how in Access Mode.
One invitation for several events
Yes. In Invitation content › Events & venues, click Add event to add another event, such as the akad and the reception. See how in Set event times and locations.
Automatic Envelope on every plan
No. Automatic Envelope (QRIS) is available on the Janjian and Full Custom plans. The difference from the Manual Envelope is explained in Gift.
