Share a Digital Gift with the recipient

Updated 13 Oct 2026

A paid gift has its own link. Send that link, or its QR card, to the recipient via WhatsApp, Instagram, or another chat app.

Share from the editor

  1. Open the gift in the editor, for example with the pencil icon (Edit) in My Digital Gifts.
  2. Tap Share at the top right (on a phone, it's the share icon). The Gift Published! dialog opens with the gift's QR card and link.
  3. Choose a QR shape, Heart Shape or Standard QR, then choose a card color (Romantic, Sunset, Ocean, Forest, Grape, or Classic).
  4. Choose how to send it:
    • Share opens your phone's share menu with the QR card image and the link. If your device can't share images, only the link and text are shared; if no share menu is available at all, the QR card image is downloaded.
    • Download QR saves the QR card image.
    • The copy icon next to the link copies the gift's link.
    • View Gift opens the gift in a new tab.
  1. In the dashboard, open the area switcher at the top, choose Digital Gifts, then open My Gifts.
  2. On a gift with Published status, tap the copy icon (Copy link). The link is copied to your clipboard.
  3. Paste the link into your chat with the recipient. To check it first, tap the Preview icon next to it.

The link address looks like abadikan.id/id/g/nama-link. You can change the nama-link part in the /g/ field at the top of the editor. This field only shows on wide screens such as laptops, not on phones.

  1. Open the gift in the editor on a laptop.
  2. Type a new address in the /g/ field: at least 3 characters, only lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens, and it can't start or end with a hyphen.
  3. Wait for the green check mark. If Slug already taken appears, try another address; if Min 3 chars, lowercase & dashes appears, fix the format.

The new address is saved automatically along with the gift's content. Set this address before you send the link to the recipient.

What the recipient sees

  • The recipient opens the link in a phone or laptop browser, without signing in or installing an app.
  • The content is the same as Preview in the editor, without the DRAFT ABADIKAN text.
  • Interactive Gift can include a PIN step: the recipient types the PIN (6 digits unless set otherwise) before continuing, with a hint if you added one. Send the PIN to the recipient separately.
  • If the link is wrong or the gift isn't available, the recipient sees Gift Tidak Ditemukan (gift not found): "Link ini mungkin sudah kedaluwarsa atau tidak valid." (This link may have expired or is invalid.)
  • When you open the link yourself while signed in to your account, there's a pencil button (Edit digital gift) at the bottom right. The recipient doesn't see this button.
