Sort out wedding documents in Paperwork
Paperwork is a checklist for your wedding documents and a place to store files. Each document has a status, a due date, an issuer, and a Required flag. File or link attachments are optional, so you can log a document first without a file.
Fill in the checklist automatically
If you've already picked a religion and adat, Set up your Planner installs the documents you need to sort out for that choice. Without those choices, add the documents yourself.
- Documents from a template come with a due date (worked out from the event date), an issuer, and a Required flag. You can change all of them.
- Conditional documents, such as a divorce certificate or parental consent, are installed with the To do status. If one doesn't apply to you, switch it to Not needed; it won't count in the totals.
Read the summary
- Done: documents completed out of all the documents to sort out.
- Overdue: unfinished documents past their due date; the first document's name shows under the number.
- The third card follows the religion: KUA registration deadline (Islam, 10 working days before the akad) or Report to Dukcapil (other religions, within 60 days after the ceremony). Without an event date, it shows Set the wedding date in Settings first. Without a religion, the card becomes Next due.
Change a document's status
Click the status pill on a document row, then choose:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| To do | Not started yet. |
| In progress | Being sorted out. |
| Done | All sorted. An attachment isn't required. |
| Not needed | Doesn't apply to you; it's left out of the count. |
After the status changes, a toast appears with Undo. Filter the list with the status tabs (All, To do, In progress, Done, Not needed) or Required only. Documents past their due date are marked n days late.

Add or edit a document
- Click Add document (or the three-dot menu on a document row → Edit).
- Fill in Document name and pick a Status.
- Fill in Due date and Issued by (for example the Kelurahan or Puskesmas), and turn on Required document if needed. For template documents, the template's date is still used if you leave the field empty.
- Choose an Attachment: No attachment, Upload file (up to 5 MB), or Save link (Google Drive, Dropbox, and the like). You can add an attachment later with Attach.
- Pick Tags if you like, then click Add.
Want to store a file without putting it on the checklist (vendor contracts, receipts)? In Status, pick Not on the checklist, just keep the file/link, then upload a file or save a link (an attachment is required for this option, and the due date, issuer, and required fields are hidden). That document shows up in the Other files & links section.
A document name is limited to 255 characters. A file can be up to 5 MB. A link must start with https:// or http://. The available tags are: Important, Akad, Blessing, Pawiwahan, Vivāhamaṅgala, Li Yuan, Main ceremony, Reception, Invitation, Finance, Vendor, Photo, Video, and Other.
Search and export
- Type in Search documents or files to search document names, file names, and who added them.
- Click a chip under Filter by tag. Each chip shows its document count, and you can pick more than one tag. Click All to go back to every document. Tag chips filter the checklist and Other files & links.
- While a search or filter is active, a result count appears, for example "3 matching documents". If nothing matches, click Clear search & filters.
- Other files & links shows documents as cards: the type (File or Link), the name, who added it (Added by ...), the Edited ... date, and the tags. Click Open file or Open link to open it in a new tab. If the link can't be opened, the card shows This link can't be opened, and No file yet when the file is missing. The list loads in steps: click Show ... more to load the next ones.
- In the three-dot menu on a card or row, choose Edit or Delete. Edit opens the same form; on a file document it shows Current file: ..., and Replace file swaps it. Delete asks for confirmation, and the document disappears from the list for all team members.
- Download Excel downloads an
.xlsxfile with the documents currently shown, so search and filters apply. The columns are: Document name, Status, Due date, Issued by, Type, File / link (clickable), Tags, Added by, and Last edited. The button is disabled when no document matches.
