Pick religion & adat to fill in Planner
Pick a religion and adat and Planner can fill in your prep right away: task list, rundown, budget lines, vendor categories, and the documents you need to sort out. You pick them in the Religion & adat step of the Wizard, or later in Settings & team, on the Religion & customs tab.
Three choices
| Choice | What it means |
|---|---|
| Ceremony religion | One for this wedding, matching the ceremony you hold. Planner doesn't ask for each partner's religion. |
| Groom's family adat and Bride's family adat | Adat is picked per family. They can be the same, different, or National/modern if you don't follow an adat. |
| Processions | The list of events from the religion and adat you picked, by stage. |
If both families share the same adat, the pack is added once and the side reads both families. Some adat have extra options, for example Javanese style (Solo or Yogyakarta). These appear as soon as you pick the adat.
Choose Rather not say yet or Not sure if you haven't decided. Planner still works empty and you fill it in yourself.

Supported religions
Islam, Protestant Christianity, Catholicism, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Confucianism. Each religion brings its own paperwork, for example registration at the KUA for Islam, or recording at Dukcapil for other religions.
Supported adat
There are 13 options, including National/modern as the base pack that is always added.

Procession library
Once you've picked a religion and adat, a Processions list appears, grouped by stage: Before the wedding, Final week, Wedding day, and After the wedding. Each procession has a tag:
- required and common: ticked from the start.
- optional: not ticked until you choose it.
Untick the ones you won't hold, and tick the optional ones if you like. To-do, Rundown, and Budget items follow the ticked processions. Required or common processions that clash with the religion you picked start unticked and show an amber note (has a note). On your phone, each stage's list opens in a sheet and is only saved when you click Save.
What happens after you pick
- Picking a religion and adat does not fill in Planner yet. The content is added after payment is complete through Set up your Planner, or from Settings & team for a wedding that's already active.
- Adding only adds items. Data you've already filled in is never changed or deleted.
- Adat costs (for example uang adat) are added at Rp0 with a range note. You fill in the amount based on your family's agreement; Planner gives no benchmark figure.
Changing religion or adat
- Open Settings & team, the Religion & customs tab (admin only).
- Change your picks. The What will change card shows the new items ready to add.
- There is one save button, and its label changes: Save religion & customs when there's nothing to add, Save & add n items when your picks changed, and Add n items when your picks are unchanged. To only save, untick the modules to add first.
Old items are not deleted automatically. If items from a pack you no longer use are still there, a summary appears: n items from X customs are still there. Click Delete X customs items… to delete only the untouched ones: not ticked, not edited, and still empty. Anything you've changed stays safe. This button stays greyed out until the new pick is saved ("Save your pick first, then this item can be deleted").
Items you deleted yourself don't come back. If you want them added again, switch on Add back what you deleted (n); this switch only appears if you've deleted items before.
FAQ
My older wedding doesn't have a religion and adat. Weddings created before this feature aren't filled in automatically. The owner or an admin can pick them any time in Settings & team.
Can I skip picking an adat altogether? Yes. Pick National/modern, or skip the step and fill things in yourself.
