Track your wedding budget by category
The Budget menu tracks what you plan to spend and what you've actually spent. Each category (like Venue or Catering) shows up as a card. Click a card to open its detail page with all its items.
Open Budget
- In the app bar, choose the Planner product.
- In the sidebar, under the Money group, click Budget.
Planner opens only after this wedding's own Planner purchase is paid. See Planner payment for details.
With no categories yet, the page shows No budget yet. Click Add your first category to start.
Read the summary and category cards
At the top you'll find Total budget (with First estimate if you filled it in the wizard), Spent with its percentage, and Left. If you've spent more than planned, Left turns into Over budget.
The Search categories… box and the Side filter (All / Groom / Bride / Both) help you narrow down the cards. The filter only checks the category's own side. Each card shows the number of items and how much is spent out of the plan.

Add categories and items
- Open Budget, then click Add item. For a new category, open the ⋯ menu and choose Add category.
- Category: fill in Category name and pick its Side, then click Save category.
- Item: pick a Category, fill in the fields below, then click Save item. Or open a category card and add items from its detail page.
| Field | What to enter | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Item name | For example "Reception hall". | Required. |
| Side | Groom, Bride, or Both. | Optional, defaults to Not set. |
| Planned | The cost you're planning for. | Rp0 means not filled in yet. |
| Spent | What you've paid so far. | Optional. |
| Note | For example "30% down payment, balance due 14 days before". | Optional. |
An item stays in its category. To move it, delete it and add it again in another category. Edit or delete with the icons on the row, or the action menu on the card. Deleting a category also deletes all its items.
Category detail page
The detail page shows that category's Planned, Spent, and what's left, plus an item table with the columns Item, Side, Planned, and Spent. At the top is a Budget › category name breadcrumb; click Budget to go back.
Adat costs always start at Rp0
Adat cost items installed from Set up your Planner always come in with Planned at Rp0, plus a range as a hint. Abadikan never sets the amount: adat costs are filled in by you, as agreed by both families, and the detail page words it as the amount the families agree on. The detail page counts items not filled in in its summary. Click Hide the range when you no longer need the hint.
Private categories
The wedding owner and team admins can mark a category as Private (in the category form, or with the switch on the detail page). Other team members still see the category name on a locked card, but the amounts are hidden and aren't counted in their totals, which read Without private categories.
Item limit on the Janjian plan
On the Janjian plan, only the Budget list has an item limit for now, and category cards show a count like "n/limit". Once a category is full, Add item opens the This list is full: n of n dialog, where the button is Pay & go unlimited. See Planner package.
Download Excel
Open the ⋯ menu and choose Download Excel to get a wedding-budget-<date>.xlsx file. It has one row per item with the columns Category, Item, Target (Rp), Spent (Rp), Left (Rp), Used (%), and Notes, ending with a Total row. The menu item is disabled while the total target is still Rp0.
