Work through your prep tasks in To-do
The To-do menu is your wedding prep checklist, grouped by time or event. Each task has a due date, a side, and notes, and they're sorted by the nearest due date.
Before you start
- In the app bar, choose the Planner product.
- In the sidebar, under the Preparation group, click To-do.
There is no save button on this page. Every change shows at once and is saved in the background; the text Saving… appears while that happens.
Read the summary at the top
Four cards sit above the list (three if the wedding date isn't set yet, since the Wedding day card needs it):
- Done: the number of tasks you've ticked and the percentage.
- Late: tasks past their due date. Tasks marked Catch up aren't counted here.
- This week: tasks due today through the next 6 days (7 days).
- Wedding day: the countdown to the wedding date.

Understand task due dates
Each task has one of three kinds of due date:
| Option | What it means |
|---|---|
| Follow the wedding date | The due date is a D-x (for example D-30, D+7). It shifts if the wedding date changes. |
| Own date | A fixed date you pick. It doesn't shift. |
| No date | The task has no due date and shows at the very bottom. |
The date shown on each task is the effective due date: the fixed date, or the wedding date minus/plus D-x. Statuses on a task row:
- n days late: the due date has passed (red).
- Catch up (orange): a template task whose due date had already passed before the task was added, for example because you added a template close to the wedding. It isn't your fault it's late, but it still needs catching up on. Set up your Planner explains how to add templates.
- date · today or date · in n days: due within the next 7 days.
- Done: ticked off.
Tasks you create yourself are never marked Catch up; if they pass their date, they become Late.
Add and edit tasks
- Click Add task.
- Fill in the Task title and pick a Group.
- Set the Due date. For Follow the wedding date, pick a preset (6 months before, 3 months before, 2 months before, 1 month before, 2 weeks before, 1 week before, or 1 week after) or Other number of days. Only under Other number of days do you choose days before the wedding or days after the wedding.
- Pick a Side (Groom, Bride, or Both) and fill in Notes if needed, for example documents to bring.
- Click Add task.

Click a task to Edit or Delete task. Tasks from a template can still be edited or deleted, but they can't be moved to another group. For a template task, the due date only offers Follow the wedding date or Own date (no No date), and its D-x is read-only. Tick the circle on the left of a task when it's done.
Manage groups
Click Add group in the page's three-dot menu and fill in the Group name (for example "3 months before the wedding"). Each group shows its progress, the number of late tasks, and the next task. A group can be renamed (Rename) or deleted (Delete group); deleting a group also deletes its tasks after you confirm.
Filter and change the view
- Status filter: All, To do, Done.
- The Late and This week chips show urgent tasks.
- Side: all filters by side.
- By group or By date (all groups merged into one list sorted by due date). By date needs a wedding date.
- Reordering only works in By group with no filter, and only between tasks with the same due date.
Export from the three-dot menu: Export PDF or Export Excel. It exports the tasks currently on screen (the active filter applies), with the columns Task, Group, and Status. If there are no tasks on that tab, you get a notice and no file is created.
