Manage religious and adat processions

Processions tracks the sequence of your religious and adat processions, from the proposal to after the wedding day, in one list by stage. You can link each procession to a day in the Rundown.

Where the list comes from

Processions arrive through Set up your Planner, which fits the list to your chosen religion and adat (see Religion & adat). Library processions have a level: required, common, or optional. The level is only a label: on a Processions row, only the optional level is shown.

A procession you deleted from the list isn't installed again when you add from the library. To hold it again, write it as your own procession.

Read the summary and the list by stage

Above the list are three summaries: Done (done out of total, plus how many were skipped), Next up (the planned procession with the nearest date), and Wedding day (days left until the wedding date).

Processions are grouped into four stages:

  1. Before the wedding
  2. Final week
  3. Wedding day
  4. After the wedding

Each stage shows its procession count per status. Each row shows the procession name (ones you created are marked your own), the date, D-x against the wedding date, the side (Groom's family, Bride's family, or Together), and its status: Planned, Done, or Skipped. A planned procession within the coming week shows "in n days". A skipped procession is struck through.

Change the status from the pill on the row; a toast appears with Undo. Use the All / Planned / Done / Skipped tabs and the Side picker above the list to filter, and Clear filters when nothing matches. The three-dot button on a row opens Edit and Delete.

Link to a Rundown day

A planned procession without a day has a Make it a rundown day link. This creates a new day in the Rundown with the same title, date, and side, then links it. A linked procession shows Rundown › day name; click it to open the day. In the Rundown, that day's header shows Procession: … for the linked procession.

Add a procession

Click Add procession, then choose a tab:

  • From the library: tick processions for this wedding's religion and adat that aren't in the list yet, then click Add n processions. Below the list it says what else comes along (for example To-do groups, Rundown days, or budget categories). Ones you already have show as disabled with Already in Processions. This tab is only for the wedding owner and team admins, and only works once the Planner has been filled through Set up your Planner; if not, a Set up your Planner button appears in this tab.
  • Your own: fill in the name, side, date, and note. Every member with the Rundown permission can use it.

To add processions of another adat, change your religion and adat choices from the three-dot menu at the top of the page (Set religion & adat, admins only).
